Experienced Immigration Lawyer/Caseworker/Solicitor

Salary: £27-30k [or higher depending on experience and qualifications]

An experienced immigration caseworker/lawyer/solicitor is needed for a well-established practice in Enfield to deal with all aspects of general immigration work.

You will be required to take on a full caseload of Immigration and Nationality Law work. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Providing advice/assistance to clients and lodging applications for Leave to Enter / Remain in the following areas:

·        Nationality and Citizenship

·        Human Rights Applications

·        PBS applications

·        Asylum applications

·        Applications outside the rules

The caseload will involve preparing Appeals to the First Tier and Upper Tribunals

The candidate must have commercial awareness and preferably a background in a fee-earning capacity.

This is a challenging role which requires a high level of negotiation and advocacy, together with excellent interpersonal skills. Good IT and keyboard skills are also essential.

Qualification requirements:

At least one of the following:

- OISC Level 2

- IAAS Level 2

- Or must be able to demonstrate knowledge, competence and at least 3 years previous experience working within an immigration law firm.
